Predators Fall 6-4 Against Pittsburgh - Game Recap

Bryan Rust scored a pair of goals against the Predators as Pittsburgh handed Nashville a 6-4 defeat on Saturday at PPG Paints Arena.

Pittsburgh got goals from Bryan Rust(2), Kris Letang, Alex Galchenyuk, Dominik Kahun, and Jake Guentzel in the victory. Rust opened the scoring at 0:32 of the first period.

Matt Murray turned in a 44-save effort for the Penguins.

Mikael Granlund(2), Viktor Arvidsson, and Craig Smith scored for the Predators, finding the net behind Matt Murray.

Pekka Rinne stopped 25 of 27 shots for the Predators, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

Pittsburgh scored 3 times on 4 chances on the power play, while Nashville went 1-for-2 with the man advantage.

Pittsburgh lost the shots on goal battle to Nashville by a margin of 48-36.

Next game, Pittsburgh takes its act home to face Ottawa looking for another win. For Nashville, they head on the road to face Dallas.
