Central Michigan Chippewas vs Kentucky Wildcats Wrap - Kentucky Wins 35-20

Benjamin Snell, Jr. scampered through the Central Michigan defense for 125 yards as Kentucky handed the Chippewas a 35-20 defeat on Saturday at Kroger Field.

Kentucky did not, however, defeat the Chippewas against the spread, which closed at -17.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 49.0.

Benjamin Snell, Jr. rushed for 125 yards, while Asim Rose added 104 yards in the win. David Bouvier and Dorian Baker added 48 and 21 receiving yards respectively.

Tony Poljan rushed for 47 yards for Central Michigan, while Jonathan Ward added 36 yards. Tony Poljan threw for 137 yards for the Chippewas, while receivers Cam Cole and Brandon Childress had 51 and 23 yards respectively.

Central Michigan was outgained by Kentucky 427-255 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 27-11 by the Wildcats.

Kentucky lost the time of possession battle 31:52-28:08, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Kentucky heads into a Week 2 battle against Florida. Central Michigan, meanwhile, will have their next action against Kansas.
