Stanford Cardinal vs Washington State Cougars Wrap - Stanford Wins 30-28

The Cougars had no answer for Kevin Hogan on Saturday as the Cardinal rolled to a 30-28 win at Martin Stadium.

Gerard Wicks rushed for 78 yards for Washington State, while Jamal Morrow added 17 yards. Luke Falk threw for 354 yards for the Cougars, while receivers Dominique Williams and Gabe Marks had 94 and 83 yards respectively.

Washington State outgained Stanford 442-312 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 26-15 by the Cougars.

The time of possession battle favored Stanford as their offense was on the field for 30:18, longer than the 29:41 of their opponents.

Next game, Stanford takes its act on the road to face Colorado looking for another win. For Washington State, they head home to face Arizona State.
