Mississippi State Bulldogs vs Georgia Bulldogs Wrap - Georgia Wins 31-24

JT Daniels's 401-yard performance through the air was the key in Georgia's 31-24 win over Mississippi State on Saturday at Sanford Stadium.

The Bulldogs won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -26.5-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.

JT Daniels completed 28 of 38 pass attempts for 401 yards for the Bulldogs in the win.

Dillon Johnson rushed for 19 yards for Mississippi State, while Jo'quavious Marks added 16 yards. Will Rogers threw for 336 yards for the Bulldogs, while receivers Jaden Walley and Osirus Mitchell had 115 and 53 yards respectively.

Mississippi State lost the offensive yardage battle to Georgia 409-358 yards in Saturday's game. Mississippi State had more first downs as that total ended up 20-18.

Georgia lost the time of possession battle 32:07-27:53, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Georgia looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against South Carolina. Mississippi State will aim to get back on the winning track at Ole Miss.
