Tennessee Volunteers vs Kentucky Wildcats Wrap - Kentucky Wins 29-26

Tennessee was unable to contain Benjamin Snell, Jr. on Saturday and the result was a 29-26 Week 9 loss against the Wildcats.

Kentucky did not, however, defeat the Volunteers against the spread, which closed at -4.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 46.0.

Benjamin Snell, Jr. rushed for 180 yards, while Stephen Johnson added 84 yards in the win. Tavin Richardson and Blake Bone added 52 and 26 receiving yards respectively.

Ty Chandler rushed for 120 yards for Tennessee, while Carlin Fils-Aime added 73 yards. Jarrett Guarantano threw for 242 yards for the Volunteers, while receivers Jeff George and Brandon Johnson had 59 and 40 yards respectively.

Kentucky was outgained by Tennessee 445-371 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 27-17 by the Volunteers.

Tennessee led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 38:25-21:35 split in that important category.

Next game, Kentucky takes its act home to face Ole Miss looking for another win. For Tennessee, they head home to face Southern Miss.
