Recap - Golden Flashes Defeat Miami-OH 17-14

Miami-OH was unable to slow down Mike Carrigan, who produced 101 receiving yards as the Golden Flashes defeated the RedHawks 17-14 on Saturday.

Kent State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +8.0-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 42.5.

Mike Carrigan rushed for 61 yards, while Dustin Crum added 34 yards in the win. Mike Carrigan and Trey Harrell added 101 and 32 receiving yards respectively.

The time of possession battle favored Kent State as their offense was on the field for 31:12, longer than the 28:48 of their opponents.

Kent State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Ohio. Miami-OH will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Buffalo.
