Calgary was outgained by British Columbia 445-375 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 34-23 by the Lions.

Calgary lost the time of possession battle 37:11-22:49, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Calgary heads into a Week 4 battle against the Roughriders. British Columbia, meanwhile, will have their next action against Toronto.
